Sunday 2nd October

Today was great because it was hot and sunny, which is weird because its usually cold in october!
Also, started thinking more about my coaster business, have a request for some from my Nan! amazing. Allround good day

Well...haven't blogged for a while!

I appear to have not blogged for almost a month! But do not fear, this doesn't mean that the days have not been great. They have! I think as a general rule, I feel more positive about things, which is what the initial aim of doing this blog was. I am so much more aware of God in my life, and his provision.

We had been trying to save up for our big honeymoon. We couldn't go abroad straight after we got married because it was waaaay to expensive. However a few weeks ago, I was talking to my lovely friend in Florida who suggested we come visit this year! Fab idea- honeymoon! We decided we'd stay in Orlando for a few days and do the parks and then go down to where my friends live. I was a bit worried that we wouldn't have enough money as Florida in June is fairly expensive, flights wise and holidays wise. However, I prayed that God would either provide for us, or that we would find some great deals. We totally have! Cheap flights, under £500 return to Orlando, cheap bus trip down to Port St Lucie, and a very cheap, pretty much all inclusive 4 night stay in Orlando, including entry to the parks!!

Hooray, God totally provides!!

Tuesday 22nd March

Today was great because I had a lovely peaceful walk back to the station from work. It was sunny, warm and...starting to feel like summers on its way!

Monday 21st March

Today was great because Daniel bought me two dvds of CSI! Love it!

Sunday 20th March

Today was great because we had a lovely mixed cell lunch.it was really nice to spend time with people we don't usually get to see outside of church and eat yummy food!

Saturday 19th March

Today was great because Daniel and I spent a lovely evening with our friends Rob and Anna. So much fun,and so nice to hang out with people who we don't see very often.

Friday 18th march

Despite having to attend a funeral of a 16 year old boy today, there was something amazing about today. Hearing all the tributes to him and how people could see God in him,really encouraged me to be more proactive in my walk with God,and show him through everything I do. It has been so sad about Tobi but God is still using him to impact people's lives.

Thursday 17th March

Today was great because I went on a trip organised by the teenage cancer trust to pizza express and 'wicked'. It was really nice to get to know some of the young people and find out more about their experience of cancer.

Wednesday 16th March

Today was great because I had a lovely evening at cell!

Tuesday 15th March

Today was great because I am really starting to appreciate the times I have with Daniel rather than moan about his shifts and how I never see him. And tonight we prayed together too,which we should do so much more!so nice to do that.

Monday 14th March

Today was great because I didn't give in to temptation and eat the yummy cakes in the office!I DO have self control!

Sunday 13th March

Today was great because Dan and I went on a nice long walk by the river. It was the first Sunday we'd spent together in a long time!

Saturday 12th March

Today was great because we had fajitas for dinner.this was one of the first meals I cooked for Daniel and I was the first person to EVER make it for him.so its a good meal!

Friday 11th March

Today was great because I had an amazing back massage and I got to hang out with my friend Charli who I hardly ever get to see other than at church.lovely stuff!

Thursday 10th March

Today was great because I got to go and visit my old work. I had lunch with lovely Annette and stayed to see some of the kids. It was nice to be back! In fact one of the kids went 'Aaah shes back!' haha

Wednesday 9th March

Today was great because I got to spend some time with my lovely friend Pam! We had afternoon tea, and the sandwiches and cakes were amaaazing!

Tuesday 8th March

Today was great because it was my last day of work this week!!

Monday 7th March

Today was great because I was reunited with my wonderful husband. It was so nice to see him. Absence really does make the heart grow fonder!

Sunday 6th March

Today was great because my coach arrived back to Victoria early which meant I was back at the rents earlier too!good times.

Saturday 5th March

Today was great because I was in Liverpool visiting my lovely friend Natasha. It was so good to finally see where she lives and explore the city,and continually make references about The Beatles!haha!

Friday 4th March

Today was extra great because I found out I have got an interview for the doctorate I want to do at my first choice of uni! I am so amazed because surrey are quite picky. Amazing!

Thursday 3rd March

Today was great because I achieved a lot at work!seems a bit random,but I felt like I managed to do lot and well. Which is good!

Wednesday 2nd March

Today was great because I spent the day learning about Islam and how this believe affects how people deal with cancer. The best bit was learning how to say 'do you have diarrhoea?' in Arabic!

Tuesday 1st March

Today was great because we had sausages for dinner! I love sausages and keep forgetting to buy them, so was very chuffed that I got them on tuesday!

Today was great because we got post! Its the small things in life :)

Sunday 27th February

Today was great because all my family-brothers, parents, husband, and Zoe Coles had dinner together. It was very nice to see everyone, and have some good old laughs with Nathan (...johnson).

Saturday 26th February

Today was great because I spent a lovely afternoon with my cousin and her little ones who were hilarious as usual. Very much enjoyed making the zebra mask!

Friday 25th Febrary

Yesterday was great because during a slightly difficult afternoon I found out that a lady I work with is a Christian, and during a little debrief session she was talking about lots of God stuff that I have been thinking about this week. It was like all the stuff going on was supposed to happen. Incidentally she was the only person available to talk to- God put her there for me yesterday. AWESOME!

Thursday 24th February

Today was super great becaaaause it was SUNNY!! Its has been sooo nice to see the sun..I feel like I have been holed up in a grey...hole forevvvver!

Wednesday 23rd February

Yesterday was great because I conquered my highly irrational fear of the incredibly non-threatening Clown Doctors!Hurrah!they used to totally freak me out and I would but yesterday I actually engaged in conversation with Dr jammi...mainly about how giraffes run...but nevermind.

Tuesday 22nd February

Yesterday was great because after a tough day at work I got dinner cooked for me and had an evening in with my husband after seeing each other for only about 5 hours over the previous 3 days.

Monday 21st February

Today was great because I have lost enough weight (put on after the wedding) to fit into a lovely dress I bought for my friend's wedding. I am now only 5lbs off what I was at our wedding! So chuffed!

Sunday 20th February

Today has been great because despite Daniel being at work, I haven't been bored at all (which is what usually happens!). I have been productive with my day and can't believe its almost 5pm already!

Saturday 19th February was great because...

Yesterday was great because my oldest friend and her boyfriend came down for dinner. It was excellent to see them and talk about all sorts of ridiculous stuff!

Today was great....

I have decided to steal an idea from my friend Jack and start writing why each day was great. It is so easy to get sucked into life and not appreciate what you've got. I know for me I can get a bit 'everything is awful' when actually I have a lot to be thankful for :).

So... Today was great because

I was allowed to go home from work early so I can prepare for the entrance test for the postgrad doctorate course I want to do. How awesome is that! My boss is actually awesome.
